Parent Teacher Association
The Parent Teacher Association is a group of parents/guardians and staff who regularly meet voluntarily to discuss and organise fun and exciting activities for the children and parents of the school to enjoy. Everyone is welcome to attend the meetings and we actively welcome and encourage new ideas and suggestions – the more the merrier! Our main objective is to build closer relations between parents/guardians and teachers whilst raising funds to support our primary school and nursery. Any funds raised will be used to provide much needed resources and facilities to benefit the children and staff of the school.
Our priority for 2018 is to support with the build of the new school hall which will be built throughout Spring/Summer 2018. However, in the near future we would also like to raise enough funds to allow the school to buy a bank of I-pads as well a few other items that the staff and children have expressed they would like to see at the school….this includes 2 new playhouses for the children to enjoy at break-time.
In recent years the fundraising efforts by the PTA have been very successful but this success has only been possible thanks to the support it has received. Our most recent events included an Autumn school disco and Christmas Fayre and we have lots more planned throughout the year.
If you would like to become involved with the PTA, volunteer your help at forthcoming events, or make any suggestions regarding future events then please contact the school office where your details will be passed to the acting Chair of the committee.
